Case Study:
[Euthyphro]

Publication Design

Project Overview

This book design for Plato's Euthyphro puts a modern twist on a timeless philosophical text that challenges conventional ideas regarding justice and morality. Abstract black-and-white forms create a labyrinth of thought and reasoning, guiding the reader—an ambiguous silhouetted figure—through Socrates and Euthyphro's debate on "what is piety".

Reflection

This project challenged me to consider how the reader might approach the dialogue between the two characters, allowing me to rethink my approach to layout and publication design.
