Case Study:
[Euthyphro]

Publication Design

Project Overview

This book design for Plato's Euthyphro puts a modern twist on a timeless philosophical text that challenges conventional ideas regarding justice and morality. Abstract black-and-white forms create a labyrinth of thought and reasoning, guiding the reader—an ambiguous silhouetted figure—through Socrates and Euthyphro's debate on "what is piety".

Final Thoughts

Overall, I this project challenged me to consider how the reader might approach the dialogue between the two characters, allowing me to rethink my approach to layout and publication design.
