Project Overview

Help-A-Homie is a non-profit student group based out of Edmonton, Alberta that is devoted to the relief of poverty. This organization was in desperate need of a website and brand redesign which could help them spread online awareness for their Sunday outreaches, where they give out premade lunches to individuals experiencing poverty in downtown Edmonton.

Reflection

This brand conveys an urban aesthetic that appeals to university students and other young adults looking to volunteer or donate. The primary emblem is based on the stickers that are often plastered on light posts and traffic signs throughout the downtown core. A map texture elevates the Help-A-Homie brand by reinforcing its urban nature and reflecting the communal aspect of the organization itself.
